I Monelli Italian restaurant Malta

I can not forget it! For some time outside Italy did not eat such a good pizza. Apart from quality ingredients, the advantage of having discovered this pizzeria, is without doubt the pizza dough is fermented.

So when you get up from the table not feel the heaviness of stomach and digest easily, especially a “must” when you go to an Italian restaurant.

This pizzeria is located in a good spot, is the trendy to leave, but do not feel the rush of fuss when you’re having dinner. The place is small, but very well have taken advantage of the space and the terrace is lovely in winter (with mushrooms heat) and summer. The extent of the tables is phenomenal and not have to be fighting against your neighbor / a to see who starts before the piece of pizza, and so do “Codito with Codito”

You can tell that the owners are in the room and the kitchen always outstanding, the deal is exquisite and relaxed atmosphere, although local that does not fit one more soul … professionalism is. They are of Italian descent, but already settled in Malta, I monelli in dialect means children, which is why his image is that. Moreover, the letter can be read very kind words of their own children, worthy of your hair stand on end.

Regarding entries, salads are fresh and tasty and as regards the main course you can eat a lovely pesto pasta or a typical Italian carbonara (the egg no cream) but as I said before, the pizza is outstanding. The ham and mushrooms is phenomenal and super anchovies, because unlike other pizza, anchovy is quality and not so salty that destroys your palate and dinner.

I do not know if sereis confectioners, I confess that I do and every time I go I can not resisitir a dessert invention of them but with strong Italian inspiration. It is a customized version of pizza choclote; but the pizza dough giving it a second fryer is cut daaitos and bathes in Nutella. My mother is a treat that should not get fat. I’m thinking and makes my mouth water
